1. What are cookies and how does Wunderdata use them? When you use Wunderdata, cookies may be placed on your computer, and access to those cookies may be obtained.
Importantly, Wunderdata works just fine if you do not accept cookies, although you may need to log in again more often and might not be able (optimally) to use all Wunderdata features. Whether you choose to refuse cookies is entirely up to you. If you accept them, we can make Wunderdata a bit more user-friendly.

Social plug-ins Through Wunderdata, you can share articles on platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Wunderdata uses plug-ins from Twitter, Google, and Facebook to determine who has clicked on an advertisement from those services. However, through those plug-ins, those services can also track your browsing behavior across multiple websites and build a profile of your browsing behavior. Therefore, we ask for your permission to use these plug-ins.
Removing cookies You can set your browser so that you do not receive cookies on your next visit to Wunderdata. In that case, however, it may happen that you cannot use all the features of Wunderdata or that you do not have access to (parts of) Wunderdata.
2. With which other parties does Wunderdata share data?
Wunderdata will never sell your data to other companies to make offers that are not about Wunderdata. Of course, we hope that more and more people will use Wunderdata. To reach new readers, we therefore use the (marketing) services of third parties, such as Facebook. That does not mean we sell your data, but we do provide data so that these parties know who they should or should not approach for Wunderdata marketing actions.
Wunderdata may provide your data to third parties if you have given your permission regarding a specific third party. For example, if you subscribe to a service through Wunderdata.
Wunderdata may also provide your data to third parties if required to do so by law and/or regulations, if compelled by a lawsuit, and/or if it deems it necessary to protect its own rights.
Finally, Wunderdata may share email addresses with partners with whom we develop promotions. This way, that partner can verify whether someone has indeed become a customer of Wunderdata.
We also use other companies that support us in our services. With them:
• We ensure that many visitors can visit Wunderdata simultaneously (Fastly);
• We monitor the accessibility of our website (New Relic, Stackdriver);
• We trace errors (Crashlytics, Sentry);
• We check email addresses (apilayer);
• We support our users (Zendesk);
• We send emails (Sendgrid, Amazon, MailChimp);
• We measure advertising campaigns (Adjust);
• We collect feedback (Delighted, Typeform);
• We process payments (Adyen, PayPal, Stripe).
Wunderdata runs on servers in Europe, but a few of these companies that support us in our services have their servers located in countries outside Europe, such as in the United States. It is thus possible that personal data may be transferred outside Europe.
You can also share an article with friends via Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. That sharing happens via these platforms, and the terms and conditions and privacy policy of those platforms apply.
